Thats an awfully busy desktop you got there.

http://www.eurocompton.net/~ddp/desktop.jpg should be my latest desktop. Pretty slim, but Ive got 5 workspaces on bb to deal with.

On another note, its great to see so many bb users

Hehe, actually I open and install many stuffs to prove few people that what FreeBSD can do.. After that screenshot, I removed gtk, TheGimp and many others clean up.. Right now, I only have Mozilla, Opera, Lynx, Blackbox, Apache, mySQL, php, vim and few other for apache and shell need.. That's all..

Oh yeah!! I never like KDE, Gnome and others because I never use many stuffs in the menu... I feel like it's wasted, so Blackbox is so perfect!! Light weight and very customize..

Anyway, nice desktops you guys got!

Taking a screenshot will always kill the FPS in Q3. Still, I admit my system is no gaming monster with a Matrox G450. I usually get 35-40 FPS at 800x600x32 which is fine for me. I can skill kill plenty of folk playing Urban Terror

These are some old screeshots (Dec 98) but I still pretty much use the same desktop. Maybe now I use less fancy stuff. I still use Afterstep 1.0. It's the best desktop of all of them. :-)

Notice ipfw rules on the lower left. Any activity on my ipfw rules is updated every 2 seconds, so I can watch my firewall live. The terminal on the right shows all network activity. I am running clog there, plus it tails some other specific log files. I can see all my coworkers going to any internet address. Or any activity on my own box. Right there on my desktop.

These aren't the greatest config's, I was experimenting. These are in .bmp.

The window manager is Enlightenment with Brushed Metal theme. The terminal is an Eterm.
